Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is located on United Boulevard, about 9 kilometres or 13 minutes’ drive southwest from downtown Coquitlam. This casino boasts an 80,000-square-foot gaming floor, reputed as the largest in the British Columbia province.
The casino opened in October 2001 and was known then as the Boulevard Casino. It was rebranded as Hard Rock Casino Vancouver in December 2013, following an agreement with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, owner of the Hard Rock Cafe and legal owner-franchisor of the Hard Rock brand.

The casino’s increased revenues also benefited the city of Coquitlam, as Hard Rock Casino Vancouver is committed under an agreement to share 10 percent of its net take to the city.
The city’s recent share from the Casino has funded major Coquitlam projects, such as the renovations of the Percy Perry Stadium and the Coquitlam Sports Centre.
