FAQ

1. What services do you offer??

We offer Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy for children and adults with neurological challenges.

2. Do we need a referral?

We welcome referrals, but you do not need a referral to see one of our Therapists.

3. Is this service covered by insurance?

We can direct bill a selected amount of third party insurance companies for our Physiotherapist appointments. We also give you the proper receipts to submit after payment. Because each insurance plan is different and offer different options of coverage, the best thing is to call and clarify with your insurance company what is covered.

6. Do you have a waiting list?

We may have waitlists from time to time, each clinic and each therapist have their own schedule, and in order to help you better, it’s best to talk to your local clinic or our Booking Specialist. When we do have a waitlist we try our best to keep you updated on your place in line and offer options to help you sooner.

7. Am I able to meet with the therapist first to see if we commit to therapy in your clinic?

When you call Abilities, our Admin do a great job of helping you find the right therapist for your needs. If you would still like to speak with one of our therapists before booking an appointment, we are happy to book you in for a 15 minute phone call to get to know each other better and make sure we are the right fit for you and your loved ones.

8. Can my child have after school appointments?

Our offices are typically open from 9am – 5pm Monday- Friday. We like to book a consistent schedule for our clients. If there is an after school appointment available we can book that for you. If none are available at this time, we will get you one when it comes available.

9.  How many sessions will be needed?

After you meet with our Therapist and discuss your goals, the therapist will discuss the best treatment plan to achieve those goals and together you will decide how many sessions are needed moving forward.
